De su libro explica el autor: *Habiendo superado medio siglo de estudios económicos, concluí que el bienestar es algo más individual que social. Y que se relaciona más directamente con la espiritualidad y la psicología. Inclusive las decisiones económicas son altamente influidas por estos últimos factores. Por ello me decidí a escribir no el libro de economía que acostumbro a producir anualmente, sino uno que analice el espíritu y la psiquis, y que de normas más directas para conseguir el bienestar+.

In the author=s own words: AHaving concluded half a century of studies in the field of economics, I have come to the conclusion that economic well being is more individual than social and it is more directly related a person=s spirituality and psychology. Furthermore, economic decisions are most highly influenced by these two factors. For this reason, I decided to write not the economics book I produce on a yearly basis, but one that analyzes the spirit and the psyche.@
